Senior/Manager - Auditor
Audit & Assurance – Nicosia, Cyprus
Our client, an established and growing professional services organisation based in Nicosia, is seeking a Senior/Manager - Auditor.
The Role
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
- Review financial statements and audit files, ensuring compliance with IFRS and ISA
- Identify key risk areas and ensure appropriate audit responses
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members
- Act as a main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Ensure audits are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Contribute to engagements involving regulated entities and public accountability frameworks (EPAG exposure)
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fully qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
- Senior level: 3–5 years’ experience
- Manager level: 5+ years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Experience within a professional services / audit firm environment
- Exposure to regulated environments or audit quality frameworks (EPAG) is considered an advantage
- Fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial
